The author
Jean Zilio was born in France in 1945. At the age of 12, he began spending his free time at various airfields. Eventually in 1961, he began flying lessons at Doncourt-les-Conflans (Meurthe et Moselle) and Jean Barbier was his instructor.
The painter
In 1969 JJP earned a draftsman degree and began as an Air Traffic Controller in the French Air Force. His passion for aviation bloomed during the 20 years that followed. He had the opportunity to fly in different types of airplanes
The translator
Marie-Noelle Leonardi - Little was born in France. She graduated in 1972 with a degree in Anglo-American English and continued to improve her knowledge of the language as well as the civilization with numerous trips to Great Britain and the United-States
